Conference EnRe will take place in Congress center of Hotel Paka, Velenje, Slovenia, from 1st July to 3rd July 2009. International experts will jointly clarify many dilemmas, open new questions and exchange experiences from energy and climate change. New important business contact will be made.

WILL SLOVENIA BE TIMELY AND SUFFICIENTLY PREPARED FOR DEMANDING ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENT CHALLENGES?

EU Parliament and EU Council directive for promotion of electricity produced from renewable energy sources determines that Slovenia will have to prepare and accomplish an action plan. Goals which must be achieved are:

• meeting 25 % of our energy needs from renewable sources,
• 10 % share of bio fuels in transport,
• reducing energy consumption by 20 % through increased energy efficiency,
• reducing greenhouse gases emissions by 20 %.

On these demanding questions at EnRe conference in Velenje the answers will be try to find through many presented expert lectures, discussions, round table and through other discussions and gatherings. We are looking forward to your participation and active cooperation at conference work.
